Not only is it an 18-minute walk from campus, but it’s also near the Cincinnati Zoo (just in case you’re looking for some after-class fun) and walking distance to the BTS North Shuttle Stop, making your commute easier. This complex has options for studio, one, two, three, and four-bedroom apartments, fully furnished.
For those UC students looking for housing to the East of campus, Studio One Tower is a mile off-campus, making it a 20-minute walk. Located on Burnet Ave, Studio One Tower has studio and one-bedroom units for about $1,000 a month. Alternatively, Euclid Square is a gated community that is only two blocks from campus on the East side, making it a 15-minute walk to class.
Finally, if you are looking for something even closer, The Deacon is less than a half-mile from campus, which is about a 7-minute walk. This new housing property has studio, one, two, three, and four-bedroom apartments, making it the perfect steal for you, whether you have roommates or not.

In addition, Camp Washington Chili, located a little over a mile from campus on Colerain Ave. has American cuisine that everyone loves.
Feeling adventurous? Island Frydays serves Jamaican cuisine on Short Vine St, less than a half-mile from campus. In addition, Pho Lang Tang serves authentic Asian and Vietnamese cuisine on Race St, just a little over a mile from campus.

Transportation
The University of Cincinnati campus offers a wide array of public transportation options to off-campus students.
First, there are BTS and CTS shuttle services that operate throughout the year, connecting the campus to nearby neighborhoods and entertainment areas.
In addition, the UC Metro Program offers students an EZ-Ride discount card for use on the local Metro buses that UC take students to and from campus.
Finally, NightRide is a free service provided to University of Cincinnati students, offering safe transport within a one-mile radius of campus. To utilize this service for free, you will only need to show your UC ID, and you are allowed one, non-UC guest.
If you are not up for public transportation, most off-campus UC housing complexes are also within walking distance, allowing students to bike or walk to class, if preferred.
Parking
If you have a car and are looking for parking options on campus, UC has various parking resources available to you.
There are a variety of garages on campus, as well as an option to purchase a monthly parking pass. In addition, UC offers remote parking capabilities when spots are full.

Shopping
Last, but certainly not least, the UC Campus has plenty of opportunities to shop ‘till you drop.
If you are looking for a quick stop for groceries at a well-known chain, there is a Target less than a half-mile from campus.
For those University of Cincinnati students seeking home goods and other unique finds, Toko Baru is a jewelry and home decor shop that is about a mile from campus, MiCA 12/v offers one-of-a-kind items and is under two miles from campus. There is also City Flea (located about two miles from campus) which is a flea market that you will want to visit, even if only to grab some grub from the food trucks.
