There are about 25,000 students, both undergraduates and postgraduates, who attend the university. With academic focuses in all areas, the university offers 48 different bachelor's degree programs, 94 master's degree programs, and has a medical school and law school.

    Neighborhoods

Many UVA students choose to live on campus during their first year at the University of Virginia. However, come their sophomore year, students look for an off-campus apartment around the university. There are multiple neighborhoods that are popular among UVA students and even some of the faculty.
